Winter Konfyt PuddingServes: 1 Prep Time: 1 HRS
- *5ml baking powder
- *5ml bicarbonate of soda
- 100g almonds or pecans, finely chopped
- 20ml All Gold Melon & Ginger Jam
- 1 egg
- 375ml flour, sifted
- 5ml ginger, powdered
- Pinch of salt
Sauce: Beat the sugar and the margarine together until light and fluffy, then add the egg. Mix until smooth. Add the flour, milk mix, nuts, ginger, and All Gold Melon & Ginger Jam and mix. Spoon into a greased baking dish. Make the sauce by mixing the sugar and the boiling water together. Use the back of a spoon to pour over the batter. Do not mix. Bake in pre-heated oven at 160°C for 25-30 minutes or until done. *To be dissolved in 250ml milk.
Serve hot with fresh cream or custard.
